“The killing of so many people in schools converted into shelters, the hundreds of people fleeing Al-Shifa Hospital in fear of their lives, while hundreds of thousands of others continue to be displaced in southern Gaza, are actions that violate the fundamental protection that international law must guarantee to civilians,” Volker Türk said in a statement.
