The drivers of Taylor Swift’s entourage in Rio are being investigated by police for driving with license plates covered in black plastic. You may be held responsible for hiding or tampering with vehicle identification plates.
Police officers went to the hotel where the artist is staying to examine the case report being investigated by the 14th police station in Leblon, south of Rio, and requested analysis of surveillance camera images.
According to civil police, motorists said they were instructed to cover their license plates when traveling in special lanes.
The vehicles were confiscated, but since no incident occurred, they were returned.
Taylor Swift is still performing in Rio this Sunday (11/19) and Monday (11/20) after postponing her performance on Saturday (11/18) due to the death of a fan and “extreme temperatures” in the capital, Rio de Janeiro , where the temperature sensation of the last few days reached almost 60 °C. More than a thousand people were treated for the heat at the tour’s debut in Engenhão on Friday (17/11).
The singer will also perform in São Paulo on November 25th and 26th.
Cars used by Taylor Swift’s team were confiscated for obscuring license plates.
The vehicles were taken to the police station by the police but were later returned after the drivers informed the police.
