Big party for Canadian Football League fans Sunday night at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton. The number of spectators on site was 28,808 spectators.

In addition to the on-field show, the presence of punk rock band Green Day at halftime certainly enhanced this Gray Cup final. The songs “Basket Case”, “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Holiday” in particular brought the place into a frenzy.
The weather was good for the meeting and there was a lot of support for the Alouettes team. There were sweaters everywhere with the image of the Montreal club and even a Quebec flag… Several Tiger-Cats fans lined up behind the Montreal team. The city of Winnipeg was also well represented.
