At Christmas time it is also a popular culinary luxury here: caviar – that is, sturgeon eggs – is one of the most expensive and exclusive delicacies available in our latitudes. Prices for black caviar in 2022 were between 70 and 500 euros per 100 grams, which from local aquaculture costs up to 900 euros.
