The entrepreneur Alexandre Correahusband of Ana Hickman, recently opened an account with Caixa Econômica Federal, from which he withdrew 99.6% of the special check limit totaling R$300,000 in just two days. The information comes from UOL’s Splash portal.
About 21 days after opening the account, Correa had already transferred the entire limit of two credit cards totaling R$200,000, ostensibly to pay off debts.
According to the portal, he only paid part of the interest and is now facing a lawsuit from the Bundesbank demanding R$ 682,000. Ana Hickmann told friends that the reason for the marriage crisis was financial.

The couple’s debts reach R$14.6 million, says a petition submitted by Banco Safra in October. Correa, manager of Ana’s assets and brand, has a history of real estatebacked lending dating back to the last decade.
You Loans have become more common from 2021, during the pandemic, but in June this year the situation got out of control. Banks are now seeking a R$7.5 million fee in court for nonpayment of loans taken out between September 2021 and June this year, but the couple owes an even larger amount.
Caixa’s charges are directed only against Alexandre Correa and do not affect Ana Hickmann or her companies.

At UOL, the short period of 21 days in which the entire amount of R$ 500,000 was used in September last year suggests that the account was opened with the specific aim of paying off debts.
The cards provided by Caixa, with limits of R$185,000 and R$15,000, were used quickly, with 97% of the first card’s limit being used to pay off a debt in just one day.
After paying off part of the debt in the following months, Correa defaulted on his obligations in 2023. In June, Caixa filed a lawsuit in federal court, and although the case was declared over, it may be reopened if the bank appeals.
Alexandre Correa and Ana Hickmann were contacted through their advice and remained silent about their financial situation. In a statement to UOL, Correa denied that the marital dispute was motivated by millions of dollars in debt.
