In a post on Twitter/X, the IDF reported that it had detected “around 25 launches from Lebanese territory toward Israeli territory at various points in the border area.” Some of the rockets were intercepted by Iron Dome and the rest fell in open areas.
Three drones loaded with explosives hit an area near an IDF base, but no casualties were reported, the military said.

Hezbollah, a Hamas ally, began attacking Israel after Palestinian terrorists launched an unprecedented attack on Israel on October 7.
More than 1,200 people died in Israel
Since the terrorist attack on Israel, 1,200 people have been killed, most of them civilians. The victims include women, children, babies and the elderly, as well as hundreds of young people who were at a rave party. There are already 8,600 injured in total.
Among the dead were 33 minors and 25 elderly people over 80 years old. There are also 288 foreigners on the victim list, including people with dual citizenship. Fifteen foreigners are missing.
The number of people kidnapped by Hamas is 238in addition to 4 kidnapped people who were already in the hands of terrorists before the October 7 attacks, the Israeli embassy reported.
The hostages include 34 children and young people. Ten of them are under 5 years old. The Israeli government also reports that the list of hostages includes 18 people over the age of 75. The number of foreigners in the hands of Hamas is 119 people.
