Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans’ son Jace has been hospitalized after running away again … and the teen is set to be placed in foster care under the care of CPS

Jenelle Evans’ son Jace Evans was hospitalized after running away from his grandmother Barbara’s house.

The 14-year-old is taken into custody by child protection services and placed in foster care after his release from the hospital – because he ran away so often.

The teen got in trouble at school for smoking e-cigarettes, and Barbara took away his phone as punishment – which led to him running away for the fourth time, according to TMZ.

He ran away from Barbara’s house on Saturday and wasn’t found until Sunday at 11:45 p.m.

Jenelle, CPS and the care team advised Barbara not to give him a phone, but thought he would handle it.

Jace lived primarily with Barbara until Jenelle regained custody of him this year.

He ran away for the first time in September after stepfather David was accused of hurting him.

The outlet’s insider said that if Jace gets into more trouble, he may end up in a juvenile detention center.

The teenager has maintained radio silence with his mother and stepfather David Eason.

He has reportedly had no contact with the 31-year-old Teen Mom 2 star or her husband David since he was moved out of their home and sent back to live with Jenelle’s mother Barbara.

And the new arrangement appeared to have benefited the teenager, who was happier than he had been in recent weeks, according to sources with direct knowledge who spoke to TMZ.

Jace was moved out of his mother and stepfather’s home after David was accused of hurting him and was charged with child abuse.

Although Jace was back living under Barbara’s roof – where he had spent most of his life – he was technically under the custody of Child Protective Services, which removed him from his mother and stepfather’s home.

According to the same sources, Barbara – who has had a tumultuous relationship with Jenelle over the years – also has no contact with her daughter or David.

Sources said at the time that Jace was happy to be back with his grandmother and he reportedly finally felt at home.

He has lived with her for most of his life, while Jenelle only regained custody of him from her mother in early 2023.

Jace appears to have not been to school since August when he ran away after school ended. However, he is now attending a new school.

While Jace stays away from the rest of his family, David is due in court later in November to answer child abuse charges.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, he is accused of injuring Jace in a way that left marks on his right side, as well as his left and right sides [his] Neck.’

The documents also state that Jace’s alleged “injuries were not caused by accident.”

The alleged incident is said to have occurred on September 28 – the same night Jace was reported missing for the third time after slipping out a window.

Police were called to Evans’ home around 8 p.m., where the reality star told officers that Jace had left the house, which was surrounded by woods, and did not have a cell phone with him. He was later found safe.

This comes after Evans claimed late last month that there was no warrant for Eason’s arrest.

Evans said the coverage of Eason is “going crazy at this point.”

Evans’ complaint came after a court clerk in the couple’s hometown of North Carolina told the US Sun on Wednesday that records indicated an arrest warrant for Eason that had not yet been served.

The clerk told Eason’s outlet, “I don’t see anything that’s been served. “But there’s a warrant out for his arrest.”

Evans accompanied her message with a short clip of herself singing along to Snow Tha Product’s 2018 single “Today I Decided.”

Evans told in exclusive comments on Tuesday that the charges had “nothing to do with Eason” and claimed police were “investigating the wrong person at the moment.”

Evans shares Jace with ex Andrew Lewis and is also mother to nine-year-old son Kaiser with ex Nathan Griffith; and daughter Ensley, six, with Eason.

Since Jace’s three escape attempts, he has returned to the care of his maternal grandmother, Barbara Evans, with whom he spent most of his life.

Evans said: “There is a disgusting situation that does not involve my husband.” This story is one-sided and no interviews have been conducted asking what was happening when the “incident” occurred.

She added: “I cannot provide any details at this time as this is about my son’s mental health, not my husband, and I cannot stress that enough.”

“Our time in court will come and we will be able to present the evidence that has been accumulating since 2017 and once again it has nothing to do with my husband.” “I would care for my own mental health and well-being at this time I enjoy privacy with my family.”

The charge is a misdemeanor, TMZ reported in October, adding that the investigation into the Oak Island native and her husband began after Jace’s third disappearance.

In a clip she filmed on Monday and posted to TikTok last month, Jenelle blasted her mother, complained about harassment on social media and physically stood alongside Eason, who was seen in the final seconds of the clip.

In her social media post, Jenelle said that she received a lot of “feedback” on her social media posts and concluded that her followers hate her.

“I just get harassed so much and people call me a bit of a shitty mother.” [and] “Terrible mother,” Jenelle said.

She suggested that her mother, Barbara, was the culprit behind the child abuse investigation and charges against Eason, as well as the dire consequences of the current situation.

“All of these comments come from one person who is spreading them – if you know who I’m talking about,” she said.

Jenelle said she is keeping quiet about the details of the case for now and urged her followers not to post negative sentiments on her social media pages.

“This will all be over soon and then I can tell you the whole truth and what’s going on,” she said, “but like right now, please just keep your comments to yourself because I’m trying to keep them. “ “My mental health is under control.”

Jenelle said that she still has to “go to work,” “post content,” and “make videos for you guys” during these difficult times.

She added: “I want to keep you updated with real content and not just constantly complaining or talking about my situation.”

In a separate recording in the post, she said that she “cried for 30 minutes” and continues to try to stay optimistic despite the difficult time.

“I know you see me on TikTok all the time and say, ‘She’s so happy she doesn’t care’ – I really care about what’s going on, I’m just trying not to film myself, when I’m so depressed, you know?

“But I have to keep reminding myself that I’ve been through much worse in the past and this will pass – this too will pass.”

Jenelle then focused her anger on her mother Barbara – with whom she has had a rocky relationship over the years – saying she had broken the “generational curse” in her family.

“I think what hurts me the most is that my own parents would do this to me, my own parents caused this whole storm, this damn storm – it just hurts because I would never treat my children like that,” said she.

Jenelle continued, “I know that I will treat my children with love and respect and if they need my help, I will give them my help without making them feel like a burden.”

The pair were pictured at the Wilmington Gun & Knife Show in Wilmington, North Carolina on October 15 in a video published by TMZ in which there were reportedly “criminal charges.” [were] She is likely to face charges in connection with an investigation into assault and neglect by social workers.

The MTV personality and her husband brought children Kaiser and Ensley to the event, where weapons such as pistols and knives will be for sale on tables, sources told the outlet, adding that Jace was not present for the outing.

Eason and Kaiser looked at items like rifle scopes, gun holsters and knives at the gun market; While Ensley remained close to Evans, witnesses told the outlet.

Eason appeared to “purchase a bulletproof vest for himself and a wooden battle ax for Kaiser,” TMZ reported, citing witnesses.

Evans and her daughter spent a total of about 20 minutes at the show before leaving, viewers told the outlet.

TMZ reported in early October that the CPS investigation into Evans and Eason was “in its final stages” and that it was likely that one or both would be charged as a result.

Law enforcement officials are investigating allegations that Eason assaulted Jace on September 28th.

A source told The Sun that Jace was taken to hospital the next day, where doctors found marks on his arms and neck.

The source also claimed that the physical interaction was recorded on the doorbell camera at their home.

It appears the investigation is expanding to include their other children as Jace has claimed he isn’t the only one who was physically harmed.

“The judge asked a lot of questions about what Jace saw and she took the allegations of abuse against the other minors in the home very seriously,” a source told the medium.

Evans welcomed Jace in 2009 when she was just 17 – she was filming 16 and Pregnant at the time and was still dating his father Lewis.
