Rio de Janeiro military police arrested one of the people involved in the murder of Gabriel Mongenot Santana. In a statement, the company reported that police officers from the 19th BPM in Copacabana arrested the author in the early hours of Sunday (11/19).
According to police, at least two men were involved in the crime. In addition to the suspect arrested on Sunday, there is another criminal who is believed to have committed the stabbings.
He had been arrested on charges of theft and receiving before the murder on Friday. However, he was released by court order the same day. Gabriel was killed the day after his arrest, on Saturday (18). Now the military police, together with civilian police teams, are searching for his whereabouts. According to the arrested suspect, the two are homeless.
A third man was arrested as a suspect but released unidentified. The investigation is being carried out by the Rio de Janeiro Homicide Squad.
Gabriel was stabbed 23 times
The Rio de Janeiro Civil Police report shows that 25yearold Gabriel Mongenot was killed by 23 stab wounds. The young man was in the state to attend singer Taylor Swift’s concert.

Gabriel is from Mato Grosso do Sul and was in Rio de Janeiro on the day of the robbery to attend the singer’s show. A vehicle key and two cell phones were taken during the crime.
