The Israeli government approved an agreement on Wednesday that provides for the release of 50 hostages kidnapped by Hamas. In exchange, Palestinian prisoners will be released and a four-day ceasefire will be observed, according to the official statement sent to AFP by the Prime Minister’s Office.
