A woman who “married” a rag doll has hosted a gender reveal party for her second rag doll child weeks after her ultrasound scan.
Meirivone Rocha Moraes’ whirlwind romance with the inanimate object – made for her by her mother – has seen many twists and turns over the last year, from cheating rumors to kidnapping.
But now the 37-year-old is happy to announce that she and her “husband” Marcelo are expecting their second child.
On TikTok, the couple, who already have a son named Marcelinho, hold a smoke bomb that turns pink to reveal that the growing baby is a girl – named Marcela.
This comes after Meirivone from Brazil gave an update on her pregnancy earlier this month as she attended an ultrasound scan of the child. Meirivone said the baby will be born in December.

“I wanted it to be a boy because I heard it was very expensive and a lot more work to have a girl,” Meirivone said. “But the baby will still be welcome and very loved by me and her father.”
“Marcelo is very, very happy because he wanted a girl. He already has Marcelinho, our boy, and now he is very happy with a girl.”
The couple hosted the gender reveal at their home, surrounded by 40 family members and friends.
Meirivone added: “The party was good.” There was chicken, pasta, salad and cake.
“We even had personalized sweets with our initials, music, soft drinks and lots of guests, the event was attended by around 40 people. And the moment of revelation was really cool, the baby’s name will be Marcela.”
In the clip shared on social media, Meirivone and Marcelo can be seen standing in front of a pink and blue balloon display and holding up a smoke grenade.
The smoke comes out clear before flashing a beautiful shade of pink, and Meirivone then screams in joy and jumps up and down.
The camera then shows their family and friends clapping and celebrating, while the couple’s rag doll son is also seen sitting on the lap of one of the guests and watching.
People on social media were stunned by the clip. One person said: “I’m so confused,” while another said: “My jaw dropped.”
‘How did that happen?’ another person asked and a fourth said: “Wait, wait, are you serious?”
This isn’t the family’s first appearance, in fact they’ve hit the headlines several times over the years for their unconventional life.

After the alleged cheating, Meirivone said that the love rat was made to sleep on the sofa and that she even took his “penis” away from her.
She said: “I found out when my boyfriend sent me a message one night saying he was cheating on me. ‘That night I got really sick and left him sleeping on the couch.’
And as punishment, Meirivone decided to cut off Marcelo’s penis dildo.

In February, in a dramatic turn of events, Meirivone claimed that her baby Marcelinho had been held hostage by kidnappers who demanded £161 for his release.
While waiting to hear news about her young son’s whereabouts, she posted a TikTok video in which she posted fliers in her neighborhood, urging people to come forward if they had any information.
The helpless mother who left work while searching for her son revealed she was “scared” after receiving a video of her son sitting in the corner of an abandoned building earlier this week.
Marcelinho has since been found safe and sound and attended his sister’s baby shower.
