The presenter condemned Alexandre Correa for aggression

The purpose of the blockage is to prevent the goods from being sold before the debt is paid. Also according to “Uol”, the Detran of São Paulo requested the blocking of three pickup trucks, a popular car and a motorcycle that are in the name of the company, as well as a pickup truck and a popular car that belong to the businessman. A sixth vehicle was not blocked because it was registered in another state. The couple will now be asked to pay and present their defence.

The couple faced a financial crisis

Four days before the attacks, which were reported to the police on November 11, the businessman told the press about the financial crisis in which the couple was.

At that time, for example, the company Hickmann Serviços Ltda was already accusing Banco do Brasil of collecting debts of R$ 1.2 million, which Alexandre described as “predatory and greedy”.

— Life as a businessman here in Brazil is hard. We have several businesses and thankfully some are thriving but others not so much. “We had a good relationship with the bank, but unfortunately they became tougher in the negotiations because we found their attitude to be predatory and greedy,” Correa said in a Nov. 8 interview with the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo.

How much debt do Ana Hickmann and Alexandre Correa owe?

In addition to the debts owed to Banco do Brasil, Hickmann Serviços Ltda also owes millions of dollars in debts to Banco Safra and Sistema de Crédito Cooperativo (Sicredi). According to the Court of Justice of São Paulo (TJSP), the first lawsuits filed against the couple total more than R$4 million.

In the same interview with Folha, Corrêa tried to defend his wife over news he viewed as “false and misleading” about the debt. He ended his speech by attempting to express his anger that the presenter’s public image had been tarnished by the financial crisis.

“We do not want to tarnish the name of Ana Hickmann, a woman who only works and produces, who is committed to the empowerment of women,” concluded the businessman.

What happened to Ana Hickman?

The 42yearold presenter filed a complaint against her husband on November 11th for assault and domestic violence. The case arose after an argument in the house where she lives with Correa in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo. He even admitted to the fight but denied any “major consequences.” Hickmann decided not to seek an order of protection against her husband.

According to Ana, she was in the kitchen of the mansion talking with her tenyearold son when the topic of the conversation disturbed Correa. They started arguing and the child left the room in fear when the man changed his tone.

The first violence during the fight occurred when Alexandre pushed Ana Hickmann against the kitchen wall, according to the statement. According to the report, two employees of the house were in the room and observed everything. He is then said to have threatened to headbutt the moderator.

Ana also told police that she managed to free herself from Alexandre and went to the kitchen exit to get her cell phone. At that moment he would have followed her and deliberately closed the sliding door on the presenter’s left arm.

Hickmann also states in the police report that she managed to lock her husband outside the kitchen and that it was only at that moment that she felt safe to call the police. He left the scene before police arrived.
