Ginette Reno canceled two engagements in Outaouais in quick succession, but wanted to reassure her admirers by saying she was fine, sparking a need to “take care of herself.”
The 77-year-old singer was scheduled to be present at Jean Coutu branches this Friday in Gatineau and Saturday in Buckingham.

The two meetings with his admirers served to promote his autobiography Ginette and his most recent work C’est tout moi. They will not be postponed, they will even be canceled. Since last spring, Ginette Reno has been traveling through the province of La Belle, visiting numerous pharmacies to get to know the general public.
“I’m really disappointed that I can’t visit you, but don’t worry, I’m fine. After the big year I’ve had, I just need to take it easy and rest. Thank you for your understanding,” she said in a message on her Facebook page.
Recall that last spring Ginette Reno was forced to cancel her participation in the Outaouais Film Festival due to health problems. She was scheduled to take part in a cinema lesson on June 3 and attend the screening of Jean-Claude Lauzon’s film Léolo, a classic of Quebec cinema in which she plays one of the leading roles.
The artist also underwent two surgical procedures in December 2022; One was about the heart, the other was about removing the gallbladder.
