Véronique Claveau thrives on new challenges and fun projects. When the opportunity arose to meet his long-time friend Marc-André Fortin on stage for the new show Disney in concert: A dream is a wish faced her, the singer couldn’t refuse her anything.
After dubbing Anna in the Frozen films, the multi-talented actress will this weekend have the great pleasure of reprising the song “Le Renouveau”, which she had not sung since the vocal recordings in the studio in 2013.
“And I will have the chance to do it with the orchestra [Philharmonique du Québec] to Wilfrid-Pelletier… It will definitely be a special moment for me,” she said between two rehearsals. An international show
Disney in Concert is an international format that Just for Laughs is getting its hands on. Joël Legendre then adapted it and translated it into a French-language version.

Projects don’t expand
In an interview with the QMI agency, Véronique Claveau admitted that she has a weakness for relatively short projects where she can touch on everything. “It’s a world where there is so much opportunity and so much talent. I enjoy getting to know people and discovering others,” she said, citing her colleague Sarah-Maude as an example, whom she finds extraordinary and whose talent fascinates her.
“A project like Disney in concert will not come back, it is a moment that I enjoy, but after that it is over and we move on to something else,” added the winner of the first season of Singers Masked.
