Mop Gun 2! Tom Cruise continues to show off his longer locks as he tells a joke to his co-pilot while landing his helicopter in London

Tom Cruise looked in good spirits as he arrived at London Battersea Heliport on Thursday evening.

The 61-year-old Hollywood superstar was grinning from ear to ear after landing by helicopter as he donned a gray cable-knit sweater.

The actor continued to show off his new longer hairstyle on the trip after his new hairstyle earned him headlines around the world.

Meanwhile, Tom and his co-pilot seemed to be getting along well as the two exchanged a joke on the plane. Maybe they shared hair tips.

The star looked incredibly comfortable in the cockpit of the plane as he stepped out of the helicopter wearing his black pilot gloves.

The star arrived in London on a private jet from Florida earlier this week as filming for Mission Impossible 8 resumed.

Filming on the eighth installment – expected to be called Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two – has begun again after the actor’s strike delayed production.

The star was clearly at the hairdresser and sported a much lighter, highlighted look than the darker hairstyle he was pictured with over the summer.

It looks like Tom will have to go to the hairdresser to cut off his hair and transform into slick field agent Ethan Hunt before filming any scenes.

The actor has been an accomplished pilot for almost 30 years, having qualified in 1994.

Tom is undoubtedly looking forward to getting back to work after it had to be postponed due to the actor’s strike.

The actor was originally scheduled to return as Field Agent Ethan on June 28, 2024.

However, the film has been delayed by almost a year as studios are forced to adjust release dates following the actors’ strike.

Instead, Paramount Pictures has moved “A Quiet Place: Day One,” starring Emily Blunt, to the time slot.

Paramount has had to change the release dates of its films because the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike is still ongoing, even though the WGA writers’ strike has ended.
