It’s no secret that we really like Disney Plus, after all, it’s the home of the Star Wars and Marvel Cinematic Universes. We even have a roundup of the best sci-fi movies and TV shows to stream on Disney Plus. The only catch, if you can call it that, is that this plan contains advertising. However, when you consider that Disney Plus costs $7.99 with ads alone and Hulu is 87% cheaper, it’s a huge savings that’s definitely worth considering.
If you’re a fan of TV, movies, Star Wars, Marvel or science fiction in general, this deal is a great deal and one we haven’t seen in a long time.
If you have a Disney Plus subscription, you can watch the Star Wars movies in order (as well as all the TV shows) and the same goes for streaming the Marvel movies in order too. Other great sci-fi content on Disney Plus includes the Alien series, the X-Men films, and some great documentaries.
Hulu even has some impressive titles like JJ Abrams’ Star Trek film as well as the brand new Futurama, the Predator series and Men In Black. If you like science fiction, despite the advertising, this is a Black Friday streaming deal worth considering. However, you’ll need to act quickly as this offer expires on November 28th.

Consensus: Disney Plus is undoubtedly the star attraction here and if you don’t already have a subscription, now is the time. It’s a very, very low price for two streaming services.
Buy if: You like science fiction, want to see something new, or don’t watch a lot of TV so you want to keep costs down.
Do not buy if: Honestly, the only reason you wouldn’t seriously consider this deal is if you already have subscriptions to these services.
Alternatives: Either Netflix or Amazon Prime Video are the obvious alternatives as they also offer top sci-fi content.
