Former Argentine tennis star David Nalbandian, who reached the Wimbledon final in 2002, has been accused of secretly filming his ex-girlfriend after they broke up.
The 41-year-old Nalbandian was one of the sport’s elite stars in the 2000s, rising to world No. 3 in March 2006.
He won 11 singles tournaments and, in addition to his appearance in the Wimbledon final 21 years ago, when he lost in straight sets to Lleyton Hewitt, Nalbandian also reached the semifinals at least once in the other three Grand Slams.
However, according to BILD, Nalbandian is now involved in a scandal with his former partner Araceli Torrado, 29.
According to the report, the Argentine, who was in a relationship with Torrado between September 2022 and June 2023, installed a camera in the apartment where the couple lived after their split in Palermo, Italy, to continue monitoring them.

When Torrado’s brother visited the apartment, he reportedly noticed a bizarre glow behind an air vent before removing the cover and finding the camera.
The camera was installed in Torrado’s bedroom, shocking the model and influencer.
“The horror was indescribable: He not only watched me, but could also see me naked!” says the indictment.
She originally reported Nalbandian to the police immediately, but the charges were dropped due to lack of evidence.

However, Torrado and her lawyers persisted, showing audio recordings and messages that allegedly led to Nalbandian admitting to filming her.
The Argentine newspaper La Nacion reports that the former tennis star said in a voice message: “Should I be honest?” Yes, I set up the camera.
“But I couldn’t see anything because there were internet problems.”
The report further claims Nalbandian is now facing charges of stalking and sexual harassment, and the 41-year-old is likely to be sued by his ex-partner if he is found guilty.
