Kate Beckinsale and her fans spent Thanksgiving taking to Instagram to remember her beloved cat Clive, who died in June at the age of 18.
The 50-year-old actress posted five videos of herself and the Persian cat to her 5.6 million followers, some of whom flooded her comments with compassionate messages.
Kate wrote in the caption: “Thank you for being with me through every single thing and for loving me passionately and unconditionally for almost 19 years…”
“The gratitude I have for the privilege of loving you and being loved by you is limitless. ‘My God, how I miss you, my Clive xxx’.
In one of the cute videos, Clive wore an orange hat, a blue sweater, and bright pink claws.

“My amazing dog Sam died in May and I’ll never get over it, they love us unconditionally x,” another fan expressed sympathy.
Kate replied: “That’s the hardest part because it’s almost impossible for people.” The loss of unconditional love is so painful. I am so sorry. All the best to you and Sam x’.
Another wrote: “Thanksgiving was my daughter’s favorite holiday because she lived for Turkey.” This is my first without her. “I hope Clive and Maggie have met,” and Kate simply replied, “Me too.”
