According to a survey by the dating app Bumble, giving less importance to the age of a potential partner will be the new dating trend in 2024.

In fact, users of the application have begun to expand their target audience in terms of age, looking for partners both younger and older.
For 63% of respondents, age is not a deciding factor when choosing a partner, while 59% of women admit to being open to dating a younger person.
Additionally, 35% of users admit to being less discerning about age gaps in relationships compared to last year.
Here are the other trends for 2024:
Commitment to social causes
For one in three women surveyed (33%), it is discouraging when the person they are meeting is not aware of current social problems.
The rejection of work on oneself
Working on yourself, a trend of recent years, could be abandoned.
Emotional intimacy
A third (32%) of Bumble daters surveyed believe that emotional intimacy is now more important than sex.
Open-hearted masculinity
One in four men surveyed (25%) say they have actively changed their behavior in romantic relationships and become more vulnerable than ever before with the people they date.
Rejection of traditional relationship phases
The trend is to reject traditional relationship goals such as marriage and children.
A shared passion for sport
For one in three single people surveyed (31%), a shared love of sport has now become a non-negotiable element, regardless of whether you are an athlete or just a spectator.
Quality comes before quantity
More singles (58%) are trying to maintain their mental health by meeting or dating potential partners more consciously.
