Sao Paulo
Rain or shine, it’s definitely uncomfortable going to a show of the magnitude Taylor Swift is putting on Friday night in São Paulo.
After dog days in Rio de Janeiro, fans should be able to enjoy a performance of The Eras Tour without the chaos. At least that’s what everything indicated when Swift took the stage promptly at 7:30 p.m. without being a minute late.
For those used to going to trade fairs, the improvements in structure were notable. The few confusions registered in the queue were quickly contained. There was also water distribution along the entire route and in the stadium.
In fact, Allianz Parque was not crowded. Although the stands were full, there were empty seats on the premium floor as soon as Swift took the stage.
The rain, which was a concern given the weather forecast that had fans prepared for a heavy downpour, was also not a problem at the start of the presentation. It was drizzling in line, but the water stopped when Swift appeared at the stadium.
Still, there were no tickets available at the box office, much to the tears of hundreds of fans and their families who lined up hoping to buy a ticket at the last minute.
The changes mirror the chaos in Rio, where a fan died and around a thousand more people fainted due to the heat, which hit a thermal sensation of 60C.
