Quebecers were deeply touched by the untimely death of Karl Tremblay, singer of the group Les Cowboys Fringants.
As a tribute to the father who died of prostate cancer last week at the age of 47, Télé-Québec will broadcast the show Les Cowboys Fringants in concert with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday, November 28 at 8 p.m.
A national honors ceremony will be held at the Bell Center that same evening. All tickets were sold within a few minutes on Thursday.
The concert with the OSM under the direction of Simon Leclerc was filmed in December 2020 at the Maison symphonique in Montreal. For this occasion, the group welcomes the soprano Karina Gauvin and the baritone Dominique Côté. All the classic Cowboys Fringants are presented in the spotlight.
