  • Two Palestinians accused of collaborating with the IDF were reportedly executed.
  • The men were reportedly involved in the deaths of three Palestinian fighters.
  • The organization behind the executions, “Resistance Security,” declared a zero-tolerance policy toward whistleblowers.

Two Palestinians accused of collaborating with Israel were executed and their bodies publicly displayed, Israeli news agencies reported.

According to i24NEWS, the two men were executed on Friday evening in Tulkarm in the West Bank and accused of being Israeli collaborators.

The men, identified by Israeli media as 31-year-old Hamza Mabarech and 29-year-old Azzam Joabra, were accused of being involved in the deaths of three Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists earlier this month, according to reports the new medium N12.

The suspects, one of whom detailed the collaboration in video footage, confessed to receiving significant sums – 17,000 shekels ($4,600) and 10,000 shekels ($2,700), respectively.

Videos on social media appeared to show a man hanging from a utility pole and a second hanging upside down from a wall. A large crowd gathered to chant “Allahu Akbar,” and many appeared to be filming the bodies.

Insider was unable to verify the footage.

Executions by firing squad

The self-proclaimed Security of the Resistance organization claimed responsibility for the executions by firing squad and emphasized a zero-tolerance policy toward informants or traitors, reports said.

The statement warned that anyone proven to be involved in the killing of its fighters would face serious consequences, including the possibility of a death penalty.

A third man accused of espionage was executed in Jenin, also in the West Bank, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Violence in the West Bank has increased dramatically since Hamas’ terrorist attacks on Israel on October 7. The IDF’s actions in the West Bank focused on arrests and targeted killings. Extremist Jewish settlers have also carried out attacks on Palestinian civilians.

During a recent operation in the Tulkarm refugee camp, military forces discovered roads rigged with explosives, accompanied by airstrikes on terrorists, Ynet said. The operation resulted in the deaths of six people believed to be involved in militant activities.
