College football scores, rankings, highlights: Georgia and Notre Dame close regular season with rivalry wins – CBS Sports

That puts the 2023 college football regular season in the books, and during Rivalry Week on Saturday, it was another week of close calls for the College Football Playoff contenders. No. 8 Alabama used a last-minute prayer to beat Auburn in the Iron Bowl. No. 5 Florida State overcame an early 12-0 deficit against Florida at The Swamp and No. 4 Washington outlasted Washington State with a walk-off field goal in the Apple Cup. Granted, it was a guarantee that someone in the top four would go down Saturday when No. 3 Michigan hosts No. 2 Ohio State. “The Game” ended with the Wolverines defeating the Buckeyes and earning their third straight win in the rivalry series. Michigan now travels to the Big Ten Championship Game to face Iowa, while the Wolverines seek a third straight Big Ten title and a CFP berth. Everyone is still looking at No. 1 Georgia, which remains perfect on its way to a three-goal national title after defeating Georgia Tech.

CBS Sports was there every step of the way to keep you updated on the latest scores, highlights and storylines throughout the evening.
