DEvery year, hospice volunteers Elisabeth Bayer and Franz Edlinger arrive in the fourth grade of primary school at the invitation of religion teacher Ingrid Kraus to speak on two mornings on the topic of farewell and death as part of the “Hospice makes school”.

“It is an important contribution to the education of the students’ hearts”, emphasizes Ingrid Kraus. She is also grateful to Robert Gloss and the gravedigger Helmut Messinger, who provided valuable information about her work during the course at the cemetery.

Children ask how they can say goodbye well and much more. They take a tour of the cemetery and light a candle they made for their relatives. This time they found an engraver who was adding a name to a tombstone.
