Beyonce‘s daughter, Blue ivyShe’s been a fixture at almost every concert on her “Renaissance” tour this year – and she’s upped her game on stage… all thanks to the haters.
Following the premiere of their concert film this weekend, the NYT reviewed the film and quoted Queen Bey as saying… BI’s involvement in the tour was supposed to be a temporary, one-time deal… but became a regular affair after her child objected.
They add: “Although she eventually gave in, Beyoncé was dismayed when Blue Ivy read comments on social media criticizing her lackluster moves. But it thrilled her mother that instead of quitting, she decided to work even harder and train even harder for future stops.”
This news caused quite a stir on social media… half of it Twitter is outraged that so many people brutally criticized the 11-year-old at the start of the tour, but others are using this as proof that Blue Ivy is resilient/talented – because she’s a much better dancer now.
Recordings from their May trips in Europe has been making the rounds online… and yes, you can see a big difference in their performance compared to recent shows.
The debate now is whether the harsh assessment of her abilities at the time was justified or not – some believe that BI 100% deserved the criticism she received and argue that it is fair for her to step into the spotlight (at least next to her mother). Game. Others think the girl deserves a break.
She should have listened to the professional artist who hired professional artists and said she wasn’t ready. She played around and figured it out. She’s better now. Take control of it. https://t.co/YZNzaODPms

In any case, Blue Ivy has proven herself more than worthy of sharing the spotlight with her very famous parent. And the older she gets, the more scrutiny she gets…those are the breaks, boy.
