Rapper Ludacris sensationally rappelled out of Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday during the Atlanta Falcons’ 24:15 win against their NFC South rivals, the New Orleans Saints.
The 46-year-old rapper fell from the ceiling of the huge 70,000-seat stadium at the end of the third quarter, his performance reminiscent of 50 years of hip-hop, according to the NFL.
He sang his song “Move B****” as he was ushered into the venue in front of thousands of fans.
It was another stunning Thanksgiving weekend musical performance in the NFL after Dolly Parton mesmerized America with her own halftime performance in Dallas as the Cowboys beat the Commanders on Thursday night.
Ludacris, a three-time Grammy winner, has been a Falcons fan since moving to Atlanta as a child. He was originally born and raised in Illinois before moving to the southern state.

His performance was followed by a pre-game show that featured several artists from the Georgian capital, including rappers Jermaine Dupri, CeeLo Green, Bi Boi, TI, Jeezy and Quavo.
Quavo performed at halftime of Sunday’s game in Atlanta and even paid tribute to his nephew TakeOff, who died in a shooting on a street in Houston, Texas, last year.
Together they were part of the American hip hop group Migos along with Quavo’s cousin Offset.
Quavo, whose real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall, performed his hit single “Who Wit Me” while a banner with a picture of TakeOff and the words “STILL WIT ME” was visible at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
In September, Quavo stepped up his advocacy against gun violence, nearly a year after Takeoff’s death.
“I feel like your call comes at the most unexpected time,” he said after his visit to the White House.
Quavo also honored his nephew along with Offset at the BET Awards earlier this summer.
According to police, Takeoff was an innocent bystander who was shot outside a Houston bowling alley on November 1, 2022, after a disagreement over a lucrative dice game led to gunfire.
Takeoff’s death was the latest in a string of fatal shootings in recent years involving hip-hop stars such as Nipsey Hussle, Pop Smoke, PnB Rock and Young Dolph.
“You don’t think nothing’s going to happen,” Quavo said in September. “I have to step up to the plate and hit a home run.”
“I have to do something about it so it doesn’t happen to the masses – especially in our culture.” I don’t want this to happen to the next person. I want to lower these percentages.’
