DI Women's Volleyball Championship 2023

The DI Women’s Volleyball Championship features 64 teams, consisting of 32 automatic qualifiers and 32 overall contenders. The NCAA Volleyball Committee will decide the overall applications based on the criteria of win-loss record, strength of schedule, RPI, KPI, etc. The competition will be played in a single-elimination match with the best three of five sets.

The first and second rounds will be held on the campuses of 16 competing institutions. The regional tournaments will be played at unspecified locations by four competing institutions, with the finals taking place in Tampa, Florida Amalie Arena. Here is the championship schedule:

  • Show selection: Sunday, November 26th at 6pm ET on ESPN
  • First and second round: Thursday-Friday, November 30th-December. 1 OR Friday-Saturday, 1st-2nd December
  • Regionals: Thursday, December 7th and Saturday, December 9th
  • Semifinals: Thursday, December 14th
  • National Championship: Sunday, December 17 on ABC
