Ana Hickmann’s revealing interview, in which she tells details about the aggression inflicted by her husband Alexandre Correa, was broadcast this Sunday evening (November 26th) on the show Domingo Espetacular on Record. In conversation with host Carolina Ferraz, Ana talked about the day of the attack, details about the reasons that led to the argument and even her childhood marred by domestic violence.
The host and model began the interview with details about the events of November 11th. Ana said she talked to her son, a 10yearold boy, about “changes” the family would have to go through in the future. Alexandre didn’t like this and started a verbal argument with the moderator.
According to Ana’s report, the argument even escalated in front of her son. When Ana asked an employee to remove the child from the restaurant, Alexandre allegedly began to display physical aggression.
“He ran into me. He didn’t hit me (headbutt) because I dodged him,” he said.
Ana then said that Alexandre closed the kitchen door at elbow height on her arm as he tried to hold her down. “I started screaming. I screamed for help. He shouted “call the police”. He called “Call 190”.
According to the presenter, the dogs were irritated with the door at the time of the attack and so she gave the animals the order to attack Alexandre. “I yelled, ‘Get it.’ And he took it.”
Ana was locked in the room and managed to call the police. “He wanted to jump out of the window. I picked up my cell phone and called 911. The bell rang three times. It’s a good thing there’s 190, otherwise it would have jumped out the window and I don’t know what would have happened.”

Reason for the fighting
As Ana reported in the interview, the reason for the argument was the discovery of debts around the couple’s office. “Days before I went into the office and found things I didn’t think I would find.”
The presenter did not provide specific details about what she found, but said that the debt case was real and was being investigated. “What I can say is that on Thursday (September 11th), which preceded the attack, I found documents, checks and many things that I could not identify (…) signatures that I am sure “They are not mine.”, values that I said were ‘not possible’.”
“Extensive investigations into fraud, embezzlement and misrepresentation are ongoing. I’ll have to wait to find out how big this is,” he added.
Ana also reported that Alexandre made offensive comments about her appearance, weight and age. “He had a way of making me feel guilty.”
Childhood with domestic violence
The presenter also spoke about her childhood, growing up with domestic violence against her mother and herself. “My father often beat my mother. “I already carried my mother to the hospital,” he said, showing a scar on his arm from an attack by his father.

Ana confirmed that she filed for the divorce of her marriage with Alexandre under the Maria da Penha Law because it would be processed faster in court. The presenter said that her son was aware of the separation. When Ana talked about her son, she started to cry.
“I had to surround myself with security. Emotional, physical and legal safety before speaking (about the aggression). And that’s why I can talk. Now I can do it,” he said.
“I still don’t know where to start again, but I’ll start again. I’m not afraid of the future. I came from a humble family, from nothing. I did that. No one deserves to be tortured in any way.”
“I will tell this story one more ending,” he concluded.
Alexander’s defense
The Domingo Spectacular report contacted Alexandre’s lawyers, who responded in a statement that Alexandre denies attacking Ana, that his innocence will be proven in court and that his son is the only victim in the story.
The news broadcast also showed the testimony of one of Ana’s servants. In the document, the woman says that she remained in the room with the child during the argument and that the presenter entered the room with an injured arm. Then the woman locked the door and Alexandre wanted to enter.
