The United States is once again involved in the war between Israel and Hamas? Three young Palestinians were shot and injured in Vermont on Saturday evening. Aged 20, they were walking “when they were confronted by a white male armed with a handgun” who “fired at least four bullets without speaking to them before apparently fleeing on foot,” Burlington police said with. The suspect has not yet been identified.
Two of the victims are said to be in “stable condition” while the third is “suffering from more serious injuries.” The young men were in the city of Burlington, 70 km from the Canadian border, to spend the Thanksgiving holiday. “At this point in time, there is no further information available that would indicate the suspect’s motive, such as statements or comments,” the police said. But according to its leader Jon Murad, “at this explosive moment, no one can look at this act without suspecting that it is a hate crime.”
