My NHL tips of the day

My NHL tips of the day

What a great start! My first predictions in The newspaper were crowned with success last weekend. We won our two NFL bets (the Steelers in Cincinnati and the Bills +3.5 points in Philadelphia), in addition to the two small bets in the NHL (the Devils and the Sharks). Let’s continue our good momentum together!

My favorite NHL bet today is for the Vegas Golden Knights to win tonight’s game in Calgary. When I recommended this game, the odds at many sportsbooks were between -108 and -115, which is a range between 1.87 and 1.93 in decimal odds.

The Golden Knights enter this game in first place in the Pacific Division with a record of 14-5-2 this season.

The Flames have a record of 8-10-3 this year and are currently in fifth place in the division.

Neither team is playing particularly well, as the Golden Knights are 4-5-1 in their last 10 games while the Flames are 5-3-2 over the same span.

In their last game on November 25th, the Flames lost 3-1 to the Avalanche. Meanwhile, the Golden Knights lost their last game against the Coyotes 2-0 a few days ago.

In my humble opinion, playing the Golden Knights against the Flames today is a good choice and I’ll tell you why. Although the home team is 13-4 in the last 17 meetings between these teams, the Golden Knights have found success against the Flames with a record of 7-3 in the last 10 meetings. Their strong defense should be on display tonight with goalkeeper Adin Hill expected to start. This year he has a record of 9-2-1 and an excellent goals-against average of 1.97.

Vegas has scored just two goals in its last three games, including two shutouts in that span. Can the team get out of the crisis today? I think she can do it, especially without the pressure of performing in front of her audience.

The Vegas Golden Knights need a win after being shut out by the Coyotes in their last game. Considering how well the Golden Knights play on the road (22-10 in their last 32 road games) and how they play against teams with a losing record (9-4 in their last 13 games against teams with a losing record), my choice is made for a Golden Knights win in Calgary.

I’ll be back tomorrow with another NHL tip for you! I’m Professor MJ, have a nice day!
