Chad Michael Murray just wants to live in the here and now.
Speaking to E! In a recent interview, the actor shared his thoughts on ex-girlfriend Erin Foster’s claims that he cheated on her with Sophia Bush in a “pretty egregious way” in the early hours of this morning.
“That’s not one of the things I want to tackle because there’s just never a winner,” Murray said of the claims. “I feel blessed to be where I am now.”

“I live in the now, I live in the present, I live in the future,” he continued. “Things have changed so dramatically for me since I was a young man that I just try to live in that space – always. So I don’t think I will ever say anything negative or hurtful about anyone. I will never do that.” . That’s just not me. I will not do it.”
Murray and Foster were together from 2001 to 2002. Bush and Murray began their official relationship in 2003 when they appeared together in One Tree Hill. Their marriage in 2005 ended after five months.
“I have more regrets in my life than I can imagine, but I don’t live in the past,” Murray added. “I try to move forward every day and just think to myself, ‘I have air in my lungs, life in my steps, the will to move forward, and the sun will rise on a beautiful morning.'”
His comments come after Foster told her sister and podcast host Sara Foster during an episode of her “The World’s First Podcast” last month: “I mean, yeah. He definitely cheated on me with her, in a pretty outrageous way. While we lived together. Pretty cool. (Representatives for Bush and Murray declined to comment at the time.)
Erin’s spontaneous claims on the podcast were in response to Sara recently addressing a DeuxMoi gossip article with an old photo of Erin and Murray that read, “He apparently cheated on her with Sophia Bush.”
However, everything is underwater for Erin, who married businessman Simon Tikhman in 2019. “I have moved on. I’m over it now. I mean, just barely. Just above,” she joked on the podcast last month.
