Monday evening results from Nashville, TN.

Randy Orton entered to open the show. When his dear friend Cody Rhodes called him, he said “of course” he would go to WarGames.



Orton also returned because he had unfinished business with Bloodline. Rhea Ripley enters, telling him that the bloodline has fallen and Judgment Day has arrived. Without Orton, Priest would also be world champion. They could make Orton’s life hell and take him out permanently. The crowd chanted “RKO.”

Orton said he’s been paying attention to the show while he’s been away and there’s been a lot of talk about Mom, but guess what: “Dad’s back.” Ripley laughed. She said she tried to give him a way out, but now he was her enemy. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonaghlo attacked from behind. Orton still gave McDonagh an RKO.
Orton told Dom not to go too far because he would find Adam Pearce and put Dom in a match tonight.

Backstage, Bálor approached Priest and said they had to be ready. Priest felt insecure and probably thought everyone would blame him for his loss at Survivor Series. Bálor, Ripley and Dom assured him that everything was fine and that they were all family.

Cody Rhodes has a great reception. He wanted to thank his teammates after his victory at WarGames and mentioned each one individually. The other story Rhodes wanted to talk about was the return of CM Punk. The crowd chanted punk. Nobody knew this was going to happen and nobody knew what would happen next. Rhodes announced that he would be the first to sign up for the 2024 Royal Rumble.

The lights dimmed and Shinsuke Nakamura appeared on the screen. Nakamura said that Rhodes needed to continue his story, but Nakamura needed Rhodes to wake him up and free him. Nakamura appeared behind Rhodes. Rhodes turned around and Nakamura sprayed a red mist into his face.

Bronson Reed vs. Ivar (with Valhalla) It was a double countout outside the ring.

Priest, Bálor and McDonagh meet Truth cwith a plate full of desserts on the couch and sugar spilled everywhere. They got angry and asked him what he was doing there. Truth offered to become his partner in WarGames. Priest said the match had already taken place and Truth asked how it went. They kicked him out. McDonagh said he would deal with the truth.

Miz walked towards Gunther. Miz watched Gunther’s press conference and noted that Gunther wanted his next opponent to challenge him face to face. Miz challenged him to a rematch.

Seth Rollins comes to the ring, and admitted that he wasn’t doing very well after leaving WarGames, but he was starting to feel like a champion again. Drew McIntyre interrupted. McIntyre wanted to shake Rollins’ hand and congratulate him on the win. Rollins shook his hand.

McIntyre admitted that Rollins was right when he said he had only himself to blame for the loss at Crown Jewel. McIntyre thought of Rollins’ daughter at that moment and asked her to stay down, but Rollins slapped him. McIntyre was full of compassion and wanted a damn rematch.

Rollins announced that he would defend the title next week on Raw. McIntyre asked who the opponent was. Rollins said it was Jey Uso. McIntyre immediately headbutted and suplexed Rollins and told him that he had just beaten Jey two weeks ago.

Jey Uso came in and hit McIntyre. Jey took the belt and purposely handed it to Rollins.

Sami Zayn confronted McIntyre backstage for the headbutt to Rollins. McIntyre acted sincere for a moment before telling Zayn that he would go to Pearce and request a match against him next week.

Jey approached Orton backstage. Cody Rhodes trusted him, brought him in and tried to do the right thing. Orton said he was fine with Jey as long as he wasn’t part of the bloodline. They shook hands.

CM Punk comes out for the final segment before a mega ovation. It wasn’t the pipe bomb some were expecting. He said even though it sounds cool, he’s home. He thanked all the fans for always chanting his name in the last ten years.

He said his wife AJ was fine and he greeted her. He then mentions that when he arrived, everyone backstage was friendly to him, except for a few. He said he came to show that he was the best of them all. Then his music plays and before he ends the broadcast he said: “I didn’t come to make friends, I came to make money.”
