The Chicago Bears wouldn’t have gotten far in their Monday game against the Minnesota Vikings without kicker Cairo Santos, as he scored all the points in a 12-10 win at US Bank Stadium.
The Illinois team almost shot itself in the foot by not using any of its four interceptions to score a touchdown. Joshua Dobbs’ passes ended up in the hands of Bears players four times, but the defense held firm.

Santos made four field goals, including two in the fourth quarter. His longest distance of 55 yards quickly served to offset the damage caused by the game’s only major. With just under six minutes left, the Vikings actually took a 10-9 lead when TJ Hockenson caught Dobbs’ throw in the pay zone.
This is the first time this season that an NFL team has won a game without scoring a touchdown. However, that didn’t stop quarterback Justin Fields from having a good game with 27 catches on 37 attempts and 217 yards gaining.
The Bears (4-8) enjoy a week off before facing the Detroit Lions (8-3) on December 10th. On the same day, the Vikings (6-6) face the Las Vegas Raiders (5-7).
