EXCLUSIVE: The father of Nardo Wick fan George Obregon, who was knocked unconscious by the rapper’s entourage in an unprovoked attack, is accusing the artist of not cooperating with police

The father of a young fan who was attacked by members of Nardo Wick’s entourage has criticized the rapper for refusing to identify the suspects as he revealed his family plans to file a lawsuit.

George Obregon Jr., 20, remains hospitalized in critical condition with a severe concussion and brain hemorrhage, according to his family, after he was brutally attacked by the 21-year-old rapper’s companions in Tampa, Florida.

Cuban-born George Obregon Sr. said in Spanish that Wick knew who his son’s attackers were because they were in his group but had refused to cooperate with authorities.

“Wick hasn’t spoken to us. “He should cooperate with the police because these men were with him, they came from the town together,” Obregon Sr. told on Wednesday.

“We don’t know the suspect’s name because the rapper didn’t identify him.” [Wick] do not talk. He doesn’t want to cooperate.’

The heartbroken father added that George had shown signs of improvement but remained in a critical condition and had memory problems. Obregon Sr. said he couldn’t give too many details because the family has filed a lawsuit against the rapper.

“We don’t know if George is going to be OK … it could have long-term effects.” “We’re very scared, you don’t know what can happen with a blow to the head,” Obregon Sr. said.

Obregon Sr. also stated that his entire family was in shock and despair and he was unable to watch the full video of the attack that went viral.

“We have an ache in our hearts and feel a sense of helplessness that no one can imagine until you experience it yourself,” he said. “I can’t even manage to finish watching the video, I want to watch it frame by frame to see what happened but my body just can’t… it’s such a huge abuse, I just can’t understand it .”

George Jr.’s family had described Wick as the young man’s favorite artist, and Obregon Sr. told that he even had posters of the rapper hanging all over his room.

“My son is an authentic guy who is loved by people… he has a million friends… he is a dreamer and he loved that rapper – he has his pictures in his room, imagine how we feel!” “The photo is still in his room and I just want to tear it up,” Obregon Sr. said.

Footage of the attack shows George Jr. walking towards the rapper and his crew before being severely beaten by one of the men and crashing into a wall.

As the fan appears to be too shocked or injured to move, another member of Wick’s entourage hits him again several times – while Wick tells the man to “relax”.

Tampa police have released images of the two suspects and asked the public for help finding them.

Wick responded to the allegations in Instagram Stories, claiming he had nothing to do with the attack on the fan and offering help to his family.

“I can’t bear the situation that happened, I was completely unaware of the impending situation.” “As soon as it happened I tried to de-escalate the situation and after the situation was over I contacted his mother and told her I would do anything to make it up to him for being a fan,” Wick said.

The rapper said he was not trying to stop the family from suing, but was genuinely concerned for him and his family.

“I can’t condone that. That wasn’t gangster, that wasn’t cool. I love all my fans, I welcome them with open arms. After the situation happened, I was incredibly angry. I contacted his family before anything was posted and reached out to his mother to make it up to him as a fan. Something like this will never happen again, I will make sure of that.

“At no time was my son aggressive, at no time did he show any signs of injury!!!” My son wanted a stupid picture with his favorite artist!!! And that’s what he gets!!!!!! I feel sick thinking about how this could have turned out!!!!’ Obregon’s mother, Michelle, wrote on Facebook.

She added: “As a mother, I implore you to help bring justice to George Obregon Jr. Anyone who knows my son knows he is the sweetest, gentlest child ever.” No drugs, alcohol, gang, nothing! I’m dying here and my damn heart hurts so bad it makes me sick. I can not keep calm.’
