He lamented the “absolute inefficiency” of the current international system to protect people’s lives and peace and to find a solution to the Palestinians’ demand for self-determination.
He recalled that on October 31, in support of the Palestinian people, the Bolivian government decided to break off diplomatic relations with Israel due to the crimes committed in the Gaza Strip.
Likewise, 73 tons of humanitarian aid were sent to Palestine, consisting of medicines, rice, wheat flour, oil and milk powder, according to the criterion adopted by Cuba: “Share what you have and not what is left”.
He noted that the plurinational state had joined the request of South Africa, Bangladesh, the Comoros and Djibouti that the International Criminal Court investigate the Israeli bombings in the Gaza Strip as alleged crimes against humanity.
