Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband Brandon Blackstock reportedly overcharged her for millions when he represented the pop star as her manager.

A California labor commissioner ruled that Blackstock, 46, “illegally” booked jobs for Clarkson – including signing her contract as a judge on “The Voice” – while she was employed as her manager, since only agents can secure roles for talent , according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

Blackstock charged $2,641,374 per store in booking fees from The Voice and other advertising agencies such as Wayfair and Norwegian Cruise Line.

The labor commissioner orders Blackstock to pay back the commissions – including the $1.98 million for appearing on The Voice – to his ex-wife.

The outlet reported that Blackstock said it would appeal the decision.

The commission also ruled that Blackstock was excused from paying commission for Clarkson’s talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the outlet said.

The former couple – who have two children together – met in 2006 and were married for almost seven years before the singer filed for divorce in June 2020. The divorce was finalized in 2022.

After her divorce is finalized, Clarkson will have to pay $45,000 a month in child support: River Rose, nine, and Remington Alexander, seven.

Blackstock will also receive $115,000 a month in spousal support through January 2024.

Clarkson recently spoke about her decision to leave The Voice after nine seasons as one of the singing competition show’s four celebrity coaches.

Balancing duties on The Kelly Clarkson Show and her commitment to The Voice in recent years seemed unmanageable, she told USA Today in October.

“Full disclosure, I put on a smile a lot because I was having a lot of trouble in my personal life,” Kelly said of her appearance on the first four seasons of her talk show.

“I learned a lot about what I was capable of and what not to deal with.” That meant I said goodbye to The Voice and took this big step. I love this family, but I thought, “I have problems. I can’t smile anymore. I don’t feel like smiling.”

Kelly first appeared on The Voice in 2018 as one of four coaches, making her debut in season 14.

She stayed until season 21 and skipped season 22 before officially ending her time on the reality series with season 23, which ended in May of this year.

Speaking about her new beginning – both after her divorce and on the fifth season reboot of The Kelly Clarkson Show in New York City – Kelly gushed that the current moment in her career felt like a “beautiful gift.”

“What’s cool about Season 5 for me?” [of The Kelly Clarkson Show] “I’ve been doing so well, not just with my kids, but with myself personally and with the show,” she told USA Today.

“I feel like a weight has been lifted.” This step was urgently needed. I think the thing I’m most excited about in Season 5 on a selfish level is just showing up to work smiling and really meaning it. “It’s a beautiful gift that you only realize once you’ve had it.”
