Anthony Fauci has finally agreed to testify before Congress about his involvement in the public cover-up of the origins of Covid.
The former White House doctor is facing criticism over his former department’s funding of dangerous experiments in Wuhan and the stark difference between his public and private comments about the possibility that Covid escaped from the lab he funded.
He is scheduled to speak before the House of Representatives in January, which will be the first time he has testified under oath since his infamous Senate showdown in July 2021.
Since then, leaked emails show that Fauci knew that coronavirus manipulation research was being conducted in Wuhan in the run-up to the pandemic.

Dr. Kristian Andersen, a Danish evolutionary biologist, co-authored a now infamous research paper published in March 2020 that denounced the idea of the lab leak as a conspiracy theory and xenophobic.
The infamous proximal origin paper was written in part by Dr. Anthony Fauci, then head of the US national research agency, had financed risky virus research on Covid relatives in the Wuhan laboratory, partly at the expense of US taxpayers.

Emails dated February 1, 2020 show that Fauci acknowledged that “Scientists at Wuhan University are known to have worked on gain-of-function experiments to determine that molecular mechanisms associated with the adaptation of bat viruses to human ones Infections and the outbreak originated in Wuhan.”
In an email, Dr. Fauci acknowledged that scientists had concerns that Covid may have been genetically engineered and that these were heightened by the fact that gain-of-function research was being conducted in Wuhan before the pandemic.
Gain-of-function research is medical research that genetically alters a virus to make it deadlier or more contagious in order to forestall possible natural mutations.
At the July hearing, Fauci explained that the NIH had never and does not now fund gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Paul said in the committee room.

Senators are also demanding answers about a lab in Montana that used U.S. taxpayer money to manipulate coronaviruses before the pandemic.
