Tears welled up in Rhodes’ eyes as she talked about the identical twins who played her sons.

She explained: “Dylan and Cole had different body types and Dylan was body shamed in front of everyone.”

Rhodes went on to say that she defended Dylan at the time when she called the Disney Channel executive “damn.”

This came just days after Rhodes recalled one of her favorite memories from the popular Disney Channel series “The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody,” which involved defending her.

Rhodes’ characters and the twin actors all lived in a suite at the Tipton Hotel in Boston, where Carey worked as a lounge singer on the series.

During an appearance on the ’90s/2000s podcast Back to the Best, Rhodes revealed that she became pregnant during filming, which led to various fat jokes on the show.

She revealed on the podcast that Dylan had been “skipping” the joke all week, but when it came to the taping, he stood his ground and fired a shot at the writers.

“One of my favorite memories is that Dylan had a line that was a big joke, but he kept skipping over it.” It was in the middle of a dialogue. So he kept jumping that laugh line,” Rhodes began.

“We finally get in front of the studio audience and he lets it out.” The executive producer yells “cut.” “By the way, it’s the director’s job to edit the film,” she adds.

“He says, ‘Cut. Dylan, say the line.” He says, “I wouldn’t disrespect any woman like that, let alone this woman. You write something funny and I’ll say it,” Rhodes said.

“That’s my little man. “They’re both my little men,” she said, adding that both Dylan and Cole “defended me the whole time.”

Dylan and Cole – identical twins born just 15 minutes apart – began acting at just six months old, playing young Patrick in Grace Under Fire, starring Brett Butler.

When Grace Under Fire went off the air, they both moved into feature films, playing Julian in Adam Sandler’s Big Daddy and appearing alongside Charlize Theron in The Astronaut’s Wife.

Although the twins were only 12 years old when The Suite Life of Zack and Cody debuted on Disney Channel in 2005, they both already had 10 feature films and over 100 television episodes under their belts.

“The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” aired for three seasons from 2005 to 2008, with the Sprouse twins moving on to “The Suite Life on Deck,” where they studied abroad.

A further three seasons ran from 2008 to 2011, culminating in 2011 with “The Suite Life Movie”.
