Hamas has released a propaganda video of Israeli hostage Yarden Bibas, a day after the terror group claimed his wife and two young children were killed in an IDF airstrike.

On Tuesday, Israeli officials said Hamas had handed the family over to another Palestinian faction, which was holding them in Khan Younis, a southern Gaza town where fighting was less intense.

But a day later, Hamas claimed that Shiri, Kfir and Ariel were all dead and attributed this to an Israeli airstrike, without providing any evidence.

The Bibas family issued a statement on Wednesday saying they were awaiting Israeli investigations into claims about the deaths of the mother and children.

“We thank the Israeli people for the warm embrace, but ask that our privacy be maintained at this very complex moment,” the family said.
