Investissement Québec (IQ), the Caisse de dépôt and Montréal International are well represented at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai.

IQ will have no fewer than seven representatives on site, including Investissement Québec International President Hubert Bolduc and Vice-President of Exports Marie-Ève Jean. These two leaders travel in business class while the other five participants travel in economy class. They will be abroad for a period of 7 to 10 days, accompanying Economy Minister Pierre Fitzgibbon and 106 members of the Quebec business community, says IQ spokeswoman Catherine Salvail.
The Caisse will send a “small team” of four people to Dubai, led by Marc-André Blanchard, head of global CDPQ, and Bertrand Millot, head of sustainable investments. “Caisse representatives will take part in around thirty forums and hold around fifty meetings with partners,” specifies spokesperson Kate Monfette.
Finally, Montréal International will have three “promoters” at COP28 specializing in clean technologies and international organizations. You travel in economy class.
