Check out the deceased actors of the soap opera “Paraíso Tropical

The first week of “Tropical Paradise,” currently running in the “Worth Watching Again” category, brought great actors back to the screen from television dramas that are no longer with us. Names such as Yoná Magalhães (19352015) and Hugo Carvana (19372014), who previously appeared in soap operas, were also seen in the cast of the soap opera by Gilberto Braga and Ricardo Linhares, which was first shown in 2007.

In addition to the two veterans, the list of deceased actors is long and includes those who had integral roles in the plot and also cameo appearances.

Hugo Carvana

A character anchored in Gilberto Braga’s storylines such as “Insensato Coração” (2011), “Celebridade” (2003), “O Dono do Mundo” (1991) and “Corpo a Corpo” (1984), Carvana embodied Belisário in the Present repetition of “Worth seeing again”.

The artist battled lung cancer for 18 years until he was defeated by the disease in 2014. After his cremation in Rio, the actor had his ashes scattered in the Tijuca Forest in Rio.

Yona Magalhaes

Yoná, one of the actresses most remembered by the public, died of heart failure on the morning of October 20, 2015. A month before her death, she was hospitalized for heart surgery.

After the procedure, her condition worsened and she did not survive the postoperative period. At 80, the actress left a legacy of more than 60 works on television, including series, serials and countless soap operas, a genre she loved.

Daisy Lucidi (19292020)

One of the victims of Covid19, a disease that caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people around the world, Daisy left the hospital at the age of 90 after being admitted to a hospital in the southern zone of Rio.

Over the course of her long career, the actress played some unforgettable roles on television, such as Iracema herself in “Paraíso Tropical” and Valentina, who seduced her granddaughters into mature men in “Passione” (2010).

Eduardo Galvão (19622020)

Eduardo Galvão also lost the fight against Covid19. He was 58 when he died in 2020. On the occasion of his death, Mariana Galvão, the actor’s daughter, paid tribute to her father on Instagram.

“There are no words, there is no air… but his energy was so incredible that I know it will soon pass. He didn’t let anyone stay in a bad mood for too long,” Mariana wrote. In the series directed by Gilberto Braga and Ricardo Linhares, Galvão Urbano starred alongside Camila Pitanga (Bebel) and Vera Holtz (Marion).

Paulo Hesse (19422023)

Recently, the actor who played Laranjeira in “Tropical Paradise” died at the age of 81. The artist’s cause of death was not announced. The announcement of his death was made by actress Bárbara Bruno on social media.

“Go in peace, my dear! Long live Paulo Hesse,” the artist wrote in the caption to a photo of the actor from “The Carnation and the Rose” (2000) posted on Instagram. Actress Cléo Ventura also paid tribute to her friend on social media. “Goodbye, dear Paulo Hesse,” he wrote in the stories.
