We don’t think we’re wrong when we say that a new little “dream” chalet near Quebec is about to open its doors on the Le Maelstrom estate in Lac-Beauport.
The site, already known for its panoramic chalets connected to the Sentiers du Moulin outdoor center, announces the arrival of a new mini-accommodation called Yak. Its most striking feature? Its heated glass outdoor pool with views of the surrounding mountains!
Like the other chalets on the property, Yak is designed in a modern, chic style with clean, minimalist lines and a warm touch.
The Maelstrom has not yet announced all the details (rooms, amenities, prices, etc.), but has published this promotional video on its Instagram page:
The opening of the Yak is announced for December 2023. It must be observed very carefully whether the final product meets expectations!
About the domain
Le Maelström is located at an altitude of 580 m, 30 minutes from Quebec City. It has the particularity of offering architectural chalets in the middle of the Sentiers du Moulin mountain bike trails. Customers can experience a bike-in/bike-out stay with access to the hiking trails directly from their rental chalet.
The area also offers opportunities for hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fat biking, and off-piste skiing or snowboarding.
One of the chalets that we have already noticed on Espaces is the Scandinavian mini house Le Lagom.
