Twin Peaks director David Lynch’s wife, Emily Stofle, is filing for divorce after 14 years of marriage and is seeking sole custody of their 11-year-old daughter

David Lynch’s wife Emily Stofle has filed for divorce after 14 years of marriage.

The Twin Peaks director’s husband, 77, and his estranged wife, 45, are seeking sole custody of their 11-year-old daughter Lula Boginia Lynch, according to TMZ.

Stofle – who married the legendary filmmaker in 2009 – is also seeking spousal support and legal fees.

According to the publication, there is no evidence that the duo signed a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot.

Stofle appeared in Lynch’s 2006 film Inland Empire as well as the 2017 revival of Twin Peaks.

In 2012, she gave birth to the couple’s first and only child together.

This is Lynch’s fourth marriage. She was previously married to Mary Sweeney from 2006 to 2007, to Mary Fisk from 1977 to 1987 and to Peggy Lynch from 1967 to 1974.
