Marc, which children’s programs impressed you?

Darth Vader [le célèbre méchant de la franchise La Guerre des étoiles]. It was the first memory of contradictory impressions that a character felt: fear of her, but also love for her. But when I talk about myself, does that surprise anyone?

After all these years, is there a song from a show that has stuck with you?
Grendizer theme song. [Accours vers nous, prince de l’espace / Viens vite, viens nous aider / Viens défendre notre terre / Elle est en danger…] Sometimes I sing it at home. Every time I lose my temper and every time my daughter and my girlfriend find me unbearable. So I add more each time. This song would have made a good opera aria… It allows you to press the note! Is there a character you wish you could have played for children?
I would have liked to play Fanfreluche. Yes.

What screen universe would you like to introduce to children?
Tolkien’s universe [écrivain à qui l’on doit Le Hobbit et Le Seigneur des anneaux] because my cousin made it for me for Easter when I was 11 or 12. That moment and the readings it inspired are among the most important of my life. I understood what passion, curiosity and wonder were.
Finally, what do you think of today’s children’s television?
