Today, Saturday, December 2, 2023“Beautiful”, the Canale 5 soap opera, is now in its thirty-second season and is broadcast regularly with a new episode. The appointment is always for 1:45 p.m.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” is the most-watched soap opera internationally, broadcasting in over 100 countries around the world and watched by more than 300 million viewers. The first episode of the soap was broadcast in Italy in 1990 on Rai 2. In 1994 the soap moved to Mediaset, where it became an integral part of the afternoon program Channel 5. In the past, the soap has also been broadcast in prime time and on other channels such as Rete 4 and Mediaset Extra and is currently being broadcast in reruns on A5.
However, the soap opera has been broadcast in the United States ever since March 23, 1987 on CBS. As for the awards won in all these years, Bold and the Beautiful has won 31 Daytime Emmy Awards in the United States and 4 Telegatti here in Italy.
