SEC Championship Preview: Alabama Defense vs. Georgia Offense
College football fans are in for plenty of laughs this weekend. On Friday, College GameDay announced that Theo Von will be this week’s guest selection player.
The show will travel to the Georgia World Congress Center, located just minutes from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, to host the showdown between Alabama and Georgia in the SEC Championship. The last time the two programs met was in the national championship in 2022 when Georgia defeated Alabama.
Von is an extremely popular comedian and host of the podcast This Past Weekend. He is originally from Covington, Louisiana. His most recent comedy special was “Regular People,” which he released on Netflix in 2021.

With the early point distribution determined, both teams will arrive in Atlanta with plenty of momentum. Georgia has won 45 of its last 46 games, with its only loss during that span coming against Alabama in the 2021 SEC Championship Game.
