Nathan Buckley has never shied away from publicly praising his girlfriend Brodie Ryan.
So it’s no surprise that the 51-year-old AFL legend was on the PDA with the brunette beauty at her surprise 35th birthday bash at Crown Casino in Melbourne on Friday night.
At the karaoke-themed party, all guests took to the microphone to belt out their hearts out, including Buckley, who serenaded Brodie with Roy Orbison’s “Pretty Woman.”
Brodie shared a video of the romantic moment on Instagram and gushed: “Just a beautiful woman being soothed by her love.”
In the clip, the former soccer star put his arm around Brodie’s shoulder and pulled her close as he performed the classic rock song.

At one point, the pair even teamed up to perform Cher’s “If I Could Turn Back Time” as a duet.
Brodie gushed about the surprise party on social media, writing: “Many thanks to my amazing partner.”
She continued, “You make me feel special every day, but last night was next level.”
Brodie was joined at the party by a handful of famous friends, including Bachelor star Zoe O’Brien and Justin McKeone, the ex-husband of model Olivia Molly Rogers.

Brodie’s birthday party isn’t the first time Buckley has praised the brunette CEO.
“I feel very lucky to have met a partner that I love and respect in Brodie. Life is good,” he told the Herald Sun in September.
In an interview in August, Brodie said the secret to her romance with Buckley was that they “share the same values.”
“Helping others be the best version of themselves, prioritizing their mental health and well-being, and giving back to others is a passion that both Nath and I have always shared, and these topics and various Initiatives were a big attraction for both of us in the beginning,” she told the Herald Sun at a charity event.

“We had very similar upbringings, so we share a lot of common values,” she continued.
“I have always been passionate about helping others wherever I can and I am inspired to have a partner who pursues this passion every day with their family, friends and the wider community.”
Brodie said Nathan’s profile gave him the opportunity to help others in difficult times and give back, and she was “inspired” by the work he does.
Excited about her new love, she gushed: “He’s a beautiful person.”
