Britney Spears celebrated her 42nd birthday this week at her manager and best pal Cade Hudson’s home in Los Angeles.
She celebrated the special occasion with a small group of confidants, including her brother Bryan Spears, who is four years older.
However, the festivities may have been put on hold as she, Cade and Bryan were once spotted leaving the house late at night.
One of her dogs appeared to have a medical emergency and had to be taken to a 24-hour animal hospital around 2 a.m.
Cade, Bryan and Britney were seen leaving the former’s home in a car, which was then parked outside a 24-hour veterinary clinic. However, the dog was not pictured.

As the night progressed, Britney and Cade were also spotted stopping at a gas station convenience store to pick up some snacks.
Their outing seemed to have been a spur-of-the-moment decision, as Cade was barefoot and wearing what looked like pajamas.
Britney was similarly dressed casually, wearing a red flannel shirt over a simple ensemble that also included white sweatpants.
She covered her face with large sunglasses and showed a look of concern when she was discovered that night.
She exited the convenience store in front of Cade, who was carrying a plastic bag full of items she had purchased at the supermarket.
