For those who think they have visited the platforms and are looking for something out of the ordinary to watch, a blockbuster series has just been released on VAT+.

It has been airing since 2019 and as such is not new, but is new to the platform.
Titled The chosen onesThe show shows the life of Jesus from the perspective of the people who crossed his path, such as the Apostles and Mary Magdalene.
With an impressive score of 98% on the website Rotten Tomatoes, which compiles reviews from critics and viewers, the series gained widespread popularity, although this came late as it was not shown on television on major American networks. Many positive reviews emphasize the acting as well as the stories, which go deeper than the stories typically portrayed in biblical films, such as those popular during the Easter season.

Interestingly, it is the most popular crowdfunded television series in history. In fact, the series’ creator, Dallas Jenkins, used fundraising platforms to finance his project. His fundraising raised more than $10 million and enabled the series to be developed.
