Prince Harry and Meghan have yet to break their silence after the Dutch translation of Omid Scobie’s book Endgame identified two royals as the center of a racism row.

King Charles and the Princess of Wales have been named as the royals accused of raising questions about the skin color of Prince Harry and Meghan’s son Archie before his birth.

The Sussexes – who first made these claims in their 2021 interview with Oprah – have remained silent about the situation so far.

A source close to the royal family has called on the Sussexes to speak out and defend their relatives as their silence is “deafening”, according to The Telegraph.

TV presenter Piers Morgan defended his decision to identify the two members of the royal family at the center of the furor, saying it was “completely obvious” they were not guilty of racism.

The Dutch version of Endgame was pulled from shelves as the publisher dismissed the edition’s names as a “translation error.”

Mr Scobie told Newsnight it was not his place to apologize as he still wanted to know what happened.

He said: “The book I edited and approved did not contain any names.”

Charles was supposed to be King of Cop, but did Harry blow his parade?

Omid Scobie’s heat attack on the royal family has diverted attention from efforts to combat climate change, he writes Sean O’Grady – a cause the Sussexes are passionate about:

Prince Philip always used to say that the British monarchy would survive as long as it was useful. At the Cop28 climate summit in Dubai, his son showed exactly how this can and should work.

With his latest attack on him and the royal family, royal biographer Omid Scobie has – whether unwittingly or not – done neither himself nor Harry and Meghan any favors. Unforgivably – although probably due to a coincidence of timing and production – Scobie’s book Endgame has diverted attention from efforts to combat climate change, a cause to which the Sussexes are passionate.
