A 22yearold American woman, identified as Alyssa Ann Zinger, was arrested in Florida, USA last week after pretending to be a 14yearold homeschool student. According to local police, the purpose of the hoax was to lure high school students into sex.
The woman is accused of performing at least 30 sexual acts with at least one student and sending intimate videos to several others. Zinger allegedly created the fake persona and communicated with the victims on social media platforms.
In a statement, Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw said it was disturbing to see an adult exploit and attack a child. In addition, police also encouraged other people to report the incident. “We encourage anyone who has been a victim of Zinger to come forward.”

Several victims who attended Wilson Middle School in Tampa’s Hyde Park neighborhood told police they believed Zinger was their age but was homeschooled.
“It is believed there are additional victims,” Tampa police said. According to the arrest warrant, the defendant began a sexual relationship with one of the victims in May, which lasted until September. The victim a boy aged 12 to 15 told police the couple had sex several times and Zinger sent him explicit photos and videos.
Another said Zinger sent a video depicting sexual intercourse to several children via Snapchat. She also allegedly admitted to a victim that she had engaged in sexual activity with other minors.

The woman was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious assault and five counts of lewd or lascivious sexual abuse of a victim between the ages of 12 and 15.
She pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released from jail after posting $7,500 bail on each of her seconddegree felony charges.
